We believe that Intimacy is God's idea and it originates and finds fullness of expression within God the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Authentic Intimacy is being seen, heard and known by God, who is Love. Authentic Intimacy with God is a moment by moment choice but is not the end-all, i.e. the the ultimate goal or conclusion of our relational intimacy with God but Intimate Union with Christ is the goal, the destination that Authentic Intimacy leads unto in being known of God as the Beloved of God’s Heart.

Intimate Union with Christ
We believe that what God has provided by Grace must be received by Faith. Each person who has made Jesus Christ the Lord of their life has the potential of what the Grace of God has already provided by Faith in Christ. Colossians 2:6 states "As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him". Each member of the Body of Christ is called to incarnate the Word, i.e. the Word made flesh (John 1:14) through Intimate Union with Christ by the Power of the Holy Spirit unto the Glory of God the Father.

Modeling the Beloved
We believe that the Father Loves the Son (Matthew 3:17) and the Son Loves the Father (John 14:31). Jesus modeled the Beloved of the Father and as members of the Body of Christ, we too are called to model the Beloved in an answer to Jesus’ prayer in John 17:21 “that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.”
Graham Cooke said it well, “Being the Beloved, by Becoming the Beloved through Beholding the Beloved”.
