Relational Identity
There are many prevailing definitions of Identity, e.g. “The stable, often deeply personal, configuration of personality, values, memories, and beliefs that define a person's core.” However, we believe that Identity is the internal, subjective, and holistic sense of being—who you believe you are in your relational Identity with Christ, i.e. receiving (Being Known) of Intimate Union with Christ in you (the Root) and your responding (Knowing) of New Creation Realities in Christ (the Fruit).
Prophetic Identity - Relational Identity
Jesus knew who He was in Relation to the Father
Identification
In our society, we have multiple forms of identification, e.g. Birth Certificate, Passport, Social Security Card, REAL ID and even Biometric data {Face ID or Touch ID} which we provide to authenticate ourselves, i.e. to establish we are who we say we are, which allows us to gain access or permission to various resources, e.g. conducting financial transaction to withdraw cash from an ATM. In other words, “Identification is the external, objective, and active process of establishing that identity, often using credentials, behaviors, or societal roles to identify or verify who a person is.”
We believe that Identity (Knowing) comes out of Identification (Being Known) of a Trusted Source! When you identify with a Trusted Source through Identification you enter into an Identity. Being Known of an Identification releases the Knowing of an Identity.
Prophetic Identity - Identification
The enemy tried to establish himself as the SOURCE of Identification!
But Jesus maintained Relational Identity with the Father’s Will as the SOURCE of Identification!
Who I am
Have you ever been invited to a social gathering and during the normal course of conversation you are asked by one of the guests to introduce yourself and you respond with an answer to this as “Who I am” with a role that you engage in, e.g. I work at this place of employment or I work for this employer in this role with this title. Most often we tend to define who we are by what we do and this is natural. But in the supernatural Kingdom of God there is a paradigm shift of defining ourselves, our identity, by “Whose I Am” with the emphasis and the focus on the Source of our existence coming from Creator God, our Father in Heaven and the express image of Father God, the Lord Jesus Christ (See Hebrews 1:3) through the Holy Spirit.
Prophetic Identity - Who I am
God as “THE Image” and Man as “A Image” Crowning Father God as “THE Trusted SOURCE!”
Jesus as the Trusted Source (Identification) of Overcoming, then Knowing the Identity of The Overcomer!!!
Our Identity is based upon HIS Identity!
